Letter: Cuomo Not the Real Power in NYS

In today’s Henrietta Post, Ron Santelli from Canandaigua questions Governor Cuomo’s political abilities.

“I was quite hopeful when Andrew Cuomo ran for New York governor last time, as I thought he would be a good one based on his performance as attorney general.

It turned out, however, that Mr. Cuomo has proved to be a weak leader, and any hope of restoring New York to a competitive state have faded during his term. For example, he has failed to encourage his fellow Democrats to eliminate or even modify the old Scaffold Law, which makes insurance rates for construction unnecessarily expensive.”
