Albany Times Union – Letter: Fix New York’s Overly Litigious Tendencies

This week, the Albany Times Union published a letter to the editor written by LRANY’s Adam Morey. The letter brings focus to the ‘Scaffold Law’ and New York’s high risk of litigation.

Updating the antiquated and litigation friendly Scaffold Law is consistently a legislative priority for each of the state’s largest pro-business associations. In June, a group of 42 business advocates submitted testimony to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Temporary Business Climate Commission. The submission highlighted common sense civil justice reforms among its priorities.”
